Day and night. Night and day.

This week the older boys had dentist appointments. This visit was Landon's first. Shawn & Landon remained as true to form to the ol' "different as day and night" saying as they could. Landon participated willingly. Where at home he is difficult to brush his teeth, for the dentist he was more than cooperative. Shawn, at home, is an expert brusher of teeth. At the dentist this week... well, Mom & Dad had to be called in to hold him down for his exam.

Tonight proved to be no different in showing the boy's true differences. Landon has a bit of a stuffy nose, so I decided to put Vicks on him and Shawn (feet, chest, nose, and throat.) Shawn has allergies and gets a little congested at night time. Landon, like the trooper he is, helped me out in applying that aromatic vapor rub. Shawn... well... he screamed and refused to give me a hug and kiss goodnight.

On the flip side to all of this Landon will always be quick to throw cars, balls, and toys in our face in fits of rage. Shawn wouldn't dream of it!

Liam thinks MeMe is pretty neat.
Landon thinks "Paa Hee" (Pappy) is pretty neat. The sun rises and sets in Pappy actually. Landon isn't too proud to hurt others feelings to let it be known that he loves his Pappy.

It doesn't come out too often... but when it does... that lippy is pretty big!

There is the smile that we see 98% of the day. I never knew what it was like to have an easy going... happy go lucky... non screaming baby. I know now... and it's fun!

The chub. The rolls. This kid gets tickled, pinched, squeezed, and kissed more than any baby I know ;)

We're ready for spring. Seriously ready.

This is Landon. This picture is Landon to the core. He's hilarious, stubborn, temperamental, yet so very loving.

Sweetie!

See, loving.

This photo is so Shawn. Bright, mischievous, and kind.

Cam ham!

On March 17th our friends John, Liz, & their daughter Delilah welcomed their 2nd child, Tatum Hannah into the world. At 9lbs 13ozs, she was a surprise to us all! Congrats you guys! We love ya!

At 3 months... we are over 18lbs.

Happy 3 Months Baby Boy! It has been one of the greatest 3 months of our lives!

Little tough guy (who really doesn't have a tough bone in his body hehe.)

Lovin's

He's a BIG Mama's boy <3

Beautiful day outside = 1st ride in the swing.

He loved it. A lot!

Relaxin' with Daddy :)

Bailey & Aunt Tearsa visits are always a blast :)

Sister, I love your expression here!

Comfy spot.

That little black spec is Matt. Matt the fly. The fly that Shawn caught. Unfortunately Matt passed away one day after being caught. Shawn did not take this so well. It was a sad, sad day.

Last Sunday our three handsome boys were baptized. It was an amazing day and a beautiful ceremony! Let these pictures speak for themselves (courtesy of our dear friend Stef.)
Shawn was so very proud! He even took a bow in front of the church :)

Landon was a little shy, but very well behaved.

What a moment!!

A walk around the church.

We are so blessed! Our Pastor with us and my parents (also the God Parents.)

A day we'll never forget!

Love <3

Miss Hailey helping to feed Liam. She's been waiting a long time to do this!

Liam adores his brothers! A lot!

Shawn has a new favorite: Rock Band with Aunt Stef. What could be more fun!?!?!

Stuck in the middle with you.

Oh the famous "Middle Child Syndrome." Jon went through it. Landon, is he going through it? My dad seems to think so (says my mom.) Granted, even before Liam was born, Landon still exhibited some of these behaviors... "It's the red hair!" was my only excuse for him. While Shawn's at school we make attempts for special time with Landon when we can. I've taken him out just for Mommy/Landon time. Jon spent the entire day with Landon doing all sorts of fun things while I had Shawn & Liam. Landon REALLY enjoyed this. But still... why does he throw an entire bowl of oatmeal across the kitchen? Why does he punch his Mommy in the face? Why does he pinch our cheeks, arms, and anything he can get a hold of? Is it middle child syndrome? Is it the red hair? And you know what? The world may never know... and that's ok... because when I get the "Uuuv youu tooo" and "Mama hugs!" all of that really doesn't matter anyway.

On the subject of unappreciated behavior. Jon & Shawn had a full on "Supernanny" moment (well, hour+) the other day. Yes my friend, Jon had to resort to the "Pick him up and put him back in time out" method after Shawn displayed some unfavorable behavior towards his father. I was very proud of Jon for sticking with it and handling the situation cool, calm, and collected. After the episode I really think Shawn "got it" as to why his Dad was not backing down. Afterward the guys shared a big ol' pizza.

As for kiddo number three: He's still a big one LOL. 17lbs of pure chub to love. He's getting very vocal (as you'll see in a video at the end.) This Mommy never tires of those adorable grins and happy coos and giggles!

Circus Day at Shawn's school.
Uncle Cody & Liam.
Big news! Cody popped the question to Lynda... andddd I was asked to be a brides maid!! Congrats you two... we are thrilled for you both!
Three silly boys.

A wonderful place to nap... in Nanny's arms.

The 5 of us :)

A note about bath time: It's Liam's most favorite part of the day. Yes, I had to add MOST in there because he loves it so much I'm not sure I can adequately describe just how much this baby loves his nightly bath routine. Just something about kicking those chunky thighs in that warm bath water sends that kid right to smileville.
As for tummy time... not as much a favorite sport as baths.

Enjoying that new blanket that Mommy (and Aunt Lynda) made.

While spring cleaning our closet (yea, it needed it!) I came across a photo album that my mom gave me that I had completely forgotten about. The 1st photo of me as a baby... Liam as a baby? Me? Liam? The second photo was where I knew Landon was actually my child. When he was younger he looked quite a bit like me, but as he's gotten older I thought he was his Dad out and out. I had to do a double take.
Goofy guy :)

Wii Time with Peeps!

Finally a photo of Peeps holding Liam too!
I can't express just how in love with Liam that the boys are. Shawn talks to him non stop about all sorts of things and just can't wait to teach him to walk, talk, and play the Wii ;)
The little frog with Liam is his FAVORITE toy. It makes him coo and smile and giggle like you wouldn't believe.

I'm going to say "last snow day." Please let that foot of snow that dumped on us be the LAST snow of the season. Spring, we need you. Now!
Sweet Dreams!

Shawn's family tree project for school.

Just Dance Kids. I could watch them all day play like this! Tonight when I took the older boys to bed Shawn was singing "Whoooo let the dogs out?" Landon replied "Arf Arf Arf" in this deep canine like growl. Oh it was just precious.

Liam enjoying a "chat" with the (non-moving) ceiling fan.
