Hush Little Baby

This week we had Shawn's... oh boy... how can these words be coming out... KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION!  I am so not ready for this on a few different levels.  For those who know the whole story of it all, you know why... but on a regular paranoid freak Mommy level... How can my baby be old enough for kindergarten!!!????  Shawn, who loved seeing the playground outside his new school, quickly changed his mind and let us know he's going to stay with Ms. Michele at preschool forever.  Fine by me!  

We have had a houseful of sick kiddos this week.  It started with Shawn, who went to the doctor Monday.  Bronchitis, an ear infection, & possibly strep.  Antibiotics for him.  Then Landon had some sort of stomach bug.  After almost 5 years of no puke (yes, none of my kids had ever puked)... Landon decided to give it to me... right on me!  Then Liam ended up with a bad cough and his breathing was labored and wheezing.  Two doctor's trips and an ER visit for him and we have RSV.  Nice.  Landon made out the best with just a sinus infection and was over that stomach bug VERY quickly.  After a pretty calm and uneventful winter (in the sick department) our luck was bound to change.  

Let me tell you... you haven't experienced life to the fullest until you've taken 3 kiddos under the age of 5 to the doctor and had two make total messes in their pants that caused the doctor to evacuate us from that room and move to a different one!  Now that takes talent.

This month was Arts Fest at Shawn's school.  What an adventure looking through all the kiddos beautiful works of art.

Last month Nan and I went on a little trip to see the one performer she has ALWAYS wanted to see... Sir Elton John!  This was an experience of a lifetime and I'm so glad we could share it together!

Liam finally meets Tatum.  This went over much better than the first time Landon and Delilah met!

On April 2nd Peeps celebrated his birthday.  We decided to surprise him.

Shawn's preschool had the wonderful opportunity of going to the college and spending the afternoon with members of the football team.  Talk about fun!  All of the kiddos seemed to really enjoy their day.  I was so proud of how well Shawn did!

Stef and I have been waiting a LONG time for this.  For the time to take Shawn skating for the first time.  Let me tell you, this kid totally blew us away with how well he did on skates!  He was going forward, backward, turning around, and when he did fall down... he picked himself right back up!  Shawn... We are SO PROUD of you!

Uncle Cody and Aunt Lynda spent the weekend.  Liam liked his Aunt... just a little... well, maybe a lot.

We need to give another huge thank you to our friend Megan for making Shawn these totally awesome Mario cupcakes!  Shawn's preschool birthday celebration was earlier this week and he wanted Mario so bad.  Megan, you did good girl!

We love all of our children so much.  You might wonder why Landon's photo isn't as plentiful on the blogs as the other boys... Well if you got kicked at, swung at, growled at and threatened... you'd keep the camera away from him too!  Here is a rare moment when he was happy about his Batman castle.
