Many years ago, when Jon and I were mere middle schoolers, the sky dumped feet (yes, feet) of snow upon us. Since then our area hasn't seen a blizzard or any major snow accumulation. Last night the sky dumped a hefty load on us (not as hefty as years past)... but Shawn sure couldn't get over getting being completely immobile by the depth of all that white in our yard. Snow approaching midway up your body doesn't allow for much walking either... sorry Landon.
After a homemade spaghetti lunch (these boys love their Mama's spaghetti!), we bundled up, ventured out, and had some winters fun.

Hombre.

This bad dog narrowly escaped with his life today. We were all ready to come in, the kids were standing at the door way, absolutely covered in snow, and I'm calling Canon. He runs up to the porch, and REFUSES to come in. So I said "Fine, stay out." But no, this dog didn't want to stay out alone, he wanted company. So after some yelling, shoe throwing, and threatening, this very naughty pooch entered the house... tail between his legs.

That snow is blindingly white!! Whew! Aww- what cute pics from today! The snow frolicing looks like it was lots of fun :-D
ReplyDeleteyou all looked like you had a great time out in the snow. I still really love Shawns hair. They are both getting big. We can not wait to see you all the next time we are there. Love you all very much
