Cough Chorus

One tiny little spot. One very small segment. Just one little patch of snow left in the far corner of our backyard. I could just smell spring in the air today! It was refreshing to know that there is an end to this winter and the days of spending 75% of our time outside are coming! What better way to spend this first lovely day in March than with our best buds! Lindsey, Riley, Owen, and Connor came over for lunch and a play date. We wanted so badly to take everyone outside for a walk, however our "Chorus of Coughers" led us to spend our time together indoors. All of the kiddos sound like a pack of sickly wild wolves! These nasty coughs have been lingering for quite some time on all of. Hopefully with this warm air moving in they'll lose the congestion.

Thanks Lindsey & Gang for a wonderful afternoon! Owen, awesome job on the potty! Auntie Ashley is very proud of you!

Snug as a bug in a rug.

The other day I decide to make up a french memo board of photos for each of the kids bedrooms. They both love looking at pictures of themselves and their loved ones. Landon especially could look at photos all day long! After two days in his room, Jon and I agree, this was a hit! The top one is Landon's. And the next one down, Shawn's.

Shawn's 2 favorite photos are the one of him at Knoebles, and the one on vacation last year.
Pops, Cody, & Lynda... you didn't make this board because Shawn has 5x7 framed photos of you guys. He LOVES looking at them at bedtime!

Littlest Best Buds.

We have this "thing" in our house... something Jon started way back when Shawn was a tot. It's called a "nose boop." Our kiddos, and most any baby I know, get a huge kick out of this. Landon gave Connor his first "boop" today. Connor's response: An ADORABLE laugh!

Bestest Buds. Its funny to see how their friendship is changing and evolving. They've gone from quiet (well not always) little tots cruising around the room barely paying attention to one another, to chasing each other from point A to point B, to tattling on what the other is doing. Ahhhhh 3 year olds!
