Easter Weekend

Happy Easter to our friends and family both near and far! We hope everyone had a joyful and blessed day as we celebrate the resurrection of Christ. Between the egg hunts, baskets, and candy I explained to Shawn why we celebrate Easter and what the true meaning behind it is, as with Christmas.

Aunt Tearsa graced us with her presence by spending the weekend here with us and joining in all the fun. The boys went on their first egg hunt up at the church. The three of us (Jon, Tearsa, and myself) all agree that Shawn and Landon did amazingly well! Landon in particular impressed us with his skill and know-how of the whole process. He's a natural I tell ya!

Yesterday we invited Aunt Stef over to join us in a pre-Easter cookout. The grill was fired up and plenty of yummies to go around for everyone. Afterward we spent the afternoon outdoors playing in the yard with bubbles, balls, cars, and Frisbee's.

The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything books, and a few activity books.

This month we will celebrate 7 years of marriage.

A surprise from Aunt Stef. A very cute pup singing an Easter song.
Landon received an adorable bunny (that actually looks a lot like one I had as a child.)
Thank you so much Aunt Stef for spending the day with us!

Bubble Time.

Canon is hilarious with this soccer ball. He runs around the yard like a goof playing "keep away" from everyone.

Ahhh, spring!

The boys in their matching shirts from GiGi.
Thank you so much, GiGi! We love them and the boys look absolutely adorable in them!

Our little explorers.

A very frustrated Shawn explaining to Landon that he wasn't throwing the ball right.

And back to Da (yes, that is his name. Da. He even repeats it over and over until he gets what he's looking for. Da. Daaaaa. Da. Daaa. Da!)

All 4 of my "boys."

If he isn't going to be a soccer player!?

Easter with the Meisers.
Thank you guys for the very sweet baskets. Those baseballs were a HUGE hit!

This afternoon we went to visit Gram Meiser (Kevin's mom.) Yesterday, Pap Meiser passed away at the hospital. Please keep the Meiser's in your thoughts and prayers. Everyone who reads this knows how big of a part of our lives they are and how much they mean to us.
