Men At Work

Two plus weeks later and I'm starting to feel human again. The antibiotics are actually doing their job (who hired these guys in the first place, they have an awful work ethic!) Coughing is still not so hot. But hey, that dude with the ice pick in my head is no longer trying to work his way to the outside of my forehead.

In honor of the infection ridding itself from my body, I decided it was time to venture to the playground with the kiddos. Jon's scheduled just so lent itself to him being able to tag along!

Tonight Shawn pulled another card from his bag of tricks to make Mommy smile. We were all sitting at the table coloring...

Shawn: "I am drawing some pretty hearts for you Mom, and they are GLORIOUS!" **sniffle** What a sweetheart.

The boys admiring their "Swimmy."

"Da" and Landon: The Swings.

We had a fun afternoon play date with Kendra, Ayden, Lexi, Genny, Cole, and Paige.
Afterward, we headed off to get some ice cream.

After dinner the boys decided they needed to get-to-it out in the backyard. Get to what you ask? Diggin' in the dirt!

A job well done, boys.

Who me?

There's that beautiful smile we all know and love. Landon's working on two teeth right now that have left him less than peachy the past few days. It was nice to see THIS face again.

Bird Watching.

Boys will be boys. A game of tag.

Shawn doing the majority of the chasing.

Uhh, Landon's turn!
May they always know this closeness, and spend lazy evenings giggling at nothing.

Peek-a-booing Mom.

He's headed straight for the majors.

Curve ball?

What a joy :)

High, all the way to the sky!

Gearin' up for another throw.

Just how high can he throw it?

And another from Landon "The Ball Master" Rawlings.

Mommy sitting back watching... listening... and enjoying the sounds of Shawn being three (almost four) years old.

And around the yard they go... after each other.

  1. Seeing the boys running around and enjoying the outdoors, brings us so much closer to them. I can not wait to be there in person and watch them playing outside and just being boys. Thank you once again for the beautiful pictures.
